Holey Carbon support films have a range of hole sizes distributed irregularly across a flat Carbon film.  

The smallest holes are often smaller than those found in Quantifoil™ Holey Carbon films and can be controlled to some degree during the manufacturing process to meet individual requirements; offering a cost effective solution where a continuous Carbon film is not desirable.

 Ideal for viewing specimens without background support,

especially suited for suspensions of viruses or nanoparticles. 

Different combinations of grid meshes, 

pack sizes and film thicknesses are available on request.
